We could not do what we do without the help and support of our fabulous Volunteers. Whatever your interest we have a role for you. In return we can offer you a full induction, support, training, basic expenses and guaranteed fun, laughter and a warm welcome. All volunteers are subject to DBS and reference checks

Student Volunteers

We provide supervised placement opportunities alongside our qualified and experienced Family Workers to support and enhance your learning and experience in an Early Years 0-4 years setting

Playroom Volunteers

Are a parent whose little ones are now at school or you are looking to return to work or build experience for your CV? Or maybe you are grandparent with skills and knowledge to share and a few hours to spare each week? We run several sessions each week and have the right opportunity waiting for you

Community Table Volunteers

Do you have a few hours each week to support in the collection and distribution of essential supplies to families in need of support? Do you love chatting and getting to know others? Then this role would be perfect for you. Please note this role is for Tuesday evenings and/or Wednesday mornings

Garden and Allotment Volunteers

Are you green fingered and a dab hand at gardening and growing vegetables and flowers from seed? Do you have a few hours a week or a month to spare? Or are you a horticultural student looking for a project to make your own? If so we have the perfect opportunity for you - both in our garden and adjoining allotment. Caretaker Volunteer

Are you a retired tradesperson with a knack for fixing things around the home? Or are you handy with a paintbrush and hammer and who would be able to provide your time on an ad hoc basis to help us keep the centre looking its best and running smoothly? Good cups of tea and biscuits guaranteed

Fundraising Volunteers

Are you a parent who attends the centre who would like to support us to continue to keep the centre running? Are you creative and full of ideas? Do you motivate and inspire others? Or are you a local business or organisation looking to give back to your community? Fundraising is essential to ensure we can continue to support children and families and we would love to hear from you and your ideas
